1997 Toshiba 480CDT Laptop

Hello everyone! This time I will be writing about my 1997 Toshiba laptop (featured in the 1948 Bruce D Mann watch).

                                             (I'm not Brad)
The laptop's specs are: 64MB ram, 2MB video ram, Windows 98 SE and a 3.80GB hard drive with 2.42GB free. (Note: it also has a CD-ROM drive for disc games & music files) The thing is about this laptop is the fact that I have too keep the laptop plugged in for it to work (the battery is broken) but that was a problem to. I got it without the charger and kept it for about a 4-5 days before going to pick some stuff my parents had bought. While I was looking around I found this adaptor that said 'Toshiba' I knew this was it. When i got home I plugged it in and it worked fine (plus no password!)

The story of HOW I got it is in the post 1948 'Bruce D Mann Watch'

Apple Macintosh & Lisa

Hello! Today I will be writing about my dream items: The 1984 Apple Macintosh and the Apple Lisa

                                                                   Here they are:

                                                               Apple Lisa (Above) (1983)
                                                   Apple Macintosh (1984)

My dream would be to one day to own one of these two. (If I can find one cheap enough on some place like Gumtree or eBay) I have a few Apple items such as: 2x 3 pin power adaptors and 1x S-Video cable.

I will try to get a emulator for Mac-OS but I am still on the hunt for one. (If you have a emulator please post a comment with the download link! P.S I am running Windows 7)

The Macintosh I'm after is the 128k or 512k (but to be honest i don't really care which Mac I get. I would be SUPER happy if  I got a Macintosh FULL STOP.

My Windows 98 SE PC From 1998

Hello dear readers! This time in my 6th post I will be writing about my 1998 Windows 98 SE PC.
I got it last year for free at a garage sale and it came with: a CRT monitor, a keyboard, and the PC itself.

Here's a few pictures of it:

                                       Booting up                                       Windows 98 Logo

The PC's specs are: 256MB PC133 ram, Pentium  2 processor and Windows 98 SE and a 4GB hard drive.

(Note: the computers graphics card is 64mb and is at 16 colours and at the resolution 640x480p)

                                                            Anyway moving on:

The story on how I got a 1998 desktop for free

Me and my dad were garage-sale hunting when we came across a house (the garage sale). As we were parking the car my Dad said to me: ''Look over there! there's an old computer!'' so I went over to have a look I was very surprised to see an old PC sitting there I asked one of the garage sales owners how much for it and he said: ''Ahh you can have it.'' I was very happy and thankful as I carried the million kilo monitor to the car. When I got home I plugged it in with the power cable that came with it. The picture was blank and I was disappointed with it. About a month or two later the tower was sitting in the corner of my room gathering dust so I decided to test it again. But to my surprise the screen turned on! I was super happy about it working I rushed into the lounge telling my parents the it worked. They were happy for me to have a computer to have fun with and use. I quickly untangled a PS/2 mouse from a bunch of cables in my brick-a-brack box and plugged it in. It worked fine! I was really happy by then and used it for about 3 hours not watching the time (whoops!). I got CD-ROM games to play and had lots of fun with it. Until I got a 2005 Windows XP pc and then neglected it. But soon turned back because it was VERY slow.

1989 Nintendo Gameboy

Today I will be talking about my 1989 Nintendo Gameboy I got it in 2014 at a 2nd hand shop for $40. (the shop closed down the same year sadly)
So here's the story on how i got it:

Me and my family were going to the new 2nd shop. I was super excited and i said to my parents: I am certain that a Gameboy would be for sale. I was right. There was a Gameboy there. There was also a Gameboy Pocket but i wanted the original, not the Pocket. So i asked how much she wanted for it, and she said $40. But i didn't have that much cash, so i had to pay it off. I ended up making $39 in three days by doing TONS of chores. I had $1 to go, so my parents gave me that dollar so i could pay the amount. I'm pretty sure we went to get it the same day but not 100%. When we arrived to pick it up, the woman said i could get a game too for free! So i choose Mega Man: Dr Wily's Revenge instead of Super Mario Land because it wasn't there sadly, But now i have a copy of it. (And now i have completed it about 4-5 times).

Here's a picture of my Gameboy
